Golden Memories was established to create lasting family memories for
generations to follow. Our mission includes compassionate handling of
clients and their life stories. Preservation of lifelong stories and the unique
journey of each client is our goal.

We begin by scheduling an informal interview with each client
who will be sharing their life story. It is important to understand our client’s
life story along what is most memorable about their life’s journey. We also
collect photos and interesting documents that can be embedded in the
video story. Finally, we follow up with an onsite video interview at the
client’s home, business or other location in our local area.

We are located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, specifically we
are located in Boerne, Texas.

Phil Ochoa, founder and CEO, has over 40 years of business
experience including several leadership positions in small and large
companies. Phil also served as a television news anchorman and is an
accomplished entrepreneur and CEO of three separate companies. Ken
Koskay, CPA, CFP has over 40 years of business experience. Ken has
served as a senior executive of his own company and has worked as an
SVP and General Manager of several publicly held business units.

We have three levels of service with prices ranging from $2,500
to $3,500. Family discounts are available when two or more family
members purchase a Golden Memories video interview at the same time.

We work hard to get to know the customer in advance of the
video shoot so that their life story can be told in a comfortable setting. Our
interviewers are trained to ask non-controversial questions and to only ask
questions that will allow the client to be portrayed in the most positive light.
We seek to bring out the joy and critical facts of lives well lived.
We understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera or
with being interviewed. That being the case, we work with each client
individually to understand their concerns, how best to assist them in communicating their life story, and convey tips on how to overcome the
fear of being recorded.

Absolutely. Our policy is to first determine if additional edits are
necessary from the client’s perspective. The client has 14 days from video
delivery to let us know about any concerns. After further editing, if you are
not 100% pleased with your video, a refund will be issued.

Delivery of the final video takes 4-6 weeks. We initially schedule
an informal interview with each client to understand their life story, gather
photos and other documents (if applicable), and write an interview script.
We then shoot the video at the client’s home, office or setting that makes
the client most comfortable. Finally, we embed photos and other relevant
documents into the video, edit the video for clarity, sound quality, and
publish the video for final delivery to the client.

We believe that life stories should be preserved for generations to
follow. Golden Memories provides a powerful, but affordable, legacy to each client.
Instead of stagnant genealogy charts or a print book, Golden Memories provides clients
with a dynamic video of their image and voice for current and future family
members. Once a person is deceased, memories fade and family histories
can be lost forever.
